http://www.myspace.com/meliahrage Boston-based MELIAH RAGE was founded in 1987 under the leadership of Anthony Nichols. Influenced by bands like Riot, Metallica, Steel Assassin, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Megadeth, Nichols forged a distinct sound of aggressive, heavy rhythm, searing melodies, and impeccable song structure. MELIAH RAGE toured the US with metal heavyweights like Slayer, Megadeth, Testament, Manowar, Metal Church, Morbid Angel, and Nuclear Assault. They are also notable for at one time featuring Godsmack front man Sully Erna on drums and former Wargasm bassist Bob Mayo. They have released seven albums; the current lineup features Mike Munro on vocals, Anthony Nichols on guitar, Jim Koury on guitar, Darren Lourie on bass, and Stu Dowie on drums.
