Picked in 1985 as one of the Top 10 Bands to watch by Rolling Stone Magazine, Crazy 8s were the college radio/indie rock darlings of the 1980's and early 90's. The original Big Live Nut Pack release was a 5-inch and a 3-inch CD for a crazy 8 inches of live music released on 8-8-88 after 8 shows (7 from the stage of a 40' semi that traveled the Portland, Oregon market, performing in front of retail outlets and making a mess of the local commute for many folks. Out of print for nearly 15 years, this classic live recording was from an incredible night in Eugene in front of the largest crowd ever to see a performance at the University of Oregon's Erb Memorial Ballroom. In 2007, Crazy 8s were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
